Founded by Carlos Cordoba, our team specializes in providing effective communications and consulting services to public agencies and private organizations with the goal of turning marketing challenges into opportunities.

Carlos founded Sherpa Marketing Solutions to provide public agencies and private organizations with senior-level expertise and the ability to manage complex projects with the drive and nimbleness of a certified small business enterprise. He is joined by a team of longtime collaborators that share the same dedication to service excellence and a passion for growing our clients’ business.

Carlos has worked in and led boutique communications firms in Los Angeles for over 20 years, leading the creation and implementation of strategically-focused advertising campaigns for public and private organizations. Carlos has the ability to develop campaigns that are firmly rooted in a brand’s unique personality and communicate benefits that are relevant and compelling to the target audience.
Carlos also has extensive experience working with clients with multiple points of contact and with maintaining open communications across diverse stakeholders. His experience includes public agencies including the City of Los Angeles, the California Department of Insurance, the California Department of Health Services, and Southern California Edison. In the private sector Carlos has collaborated with national and local advertisers including Wells Fargo Bank, Nestle Foods, Albertsons supermarkets, Allstate insurance, American Honda, plus numerous brands in the food and beverage categories.
Carlos provides project leadership and guidance to a seasoned team of subject-matter experts across creative, digital, traditional media, and public relations & community outreach services, assuring that all efforts are well coordinated and exceed client expectations.



Chief Strategy Officer

Kenny is a data-driven, entrepreneurial, empathetic marketing leader recognized for skill in both strategy and execution. Kenny has extensive client-side experience as head of marketing and member of executive leadership teams responsible for research, strategy, execution, and performance monitoring. His experience includes marketing and sales experience that increases brand visibility and consumer engagement through brand activations, digital innovation, and retail solutions.



Strategy & Research Lead

Michele is an innovative market research and strategy professional with particular expertise in the areas of message and creative testing, communications development, and consumer engagement. With over 20 years of marketing, consulting, market research and business management experience, Michele is uniquely qualified to provide clients insightful and superior data-driven strategic consulting services.
Michele supervises and manages a diverse range of qualitative and quantitative projects including General Market, African American, Hispanic, and Asian consumer groups. Her experience includes public and private entities including the California Community Foundation, Covered California, AARP, and many other organizations seeking to deepen their understanding and improve the efficiency of communication efforts.



Creative Director

Natalia is a multidisciplinary Graphic Designer and Art Director with over 18 years of agency experience working on projects on both sides of the border.
Her skill at conceptualizing and visualizing advertising campaigns from kick-off through to completion delivers advertising materials that address consumer nuances and communication needs.
Natalia has worked on major accounts in the U.S. and Mexico, including Kimberly-Clark, Pond’s, GSK Pharma, Carulla Supermarkets, Acura, and Club Med. In her spare time Natalia runs, a children’s bedroom decoration website.



Project Manager

Sandra’s project management skills and attention to detail are the driving force that embodies Sherpa’s commitment to delivering innovative marketing solutions on time and on budget. Whether co-hosting Zoom webinars behind the scenes or monitoring project deadlines, we like to say (in Spanish) “A Sandra no se le pasa una” (Nothing gets past Sandra!).
